Cookie Policy
Short and sweet: we only use what the website needs to work.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, can also save small pieces of information. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), websites may use cookies that are strictly necessary without asking for consent, but must ask before using any others.
2. The cookies we use
We keep things simple. Southwish does not use analytics, advertising, social media or tracking cookies. We only use the following, which are strictly necessary:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Cookie (first-party) | Set only when you send a request. Helps protect our forms from spam and repeated submissions. | Ends when you close your browser |
| sw-cookie-ok | Local storage (first-party) | Remembers that you have seen our cookie notice, so it isn’t shown again. | Until you clear your browser storage |
3. Third-party services
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Google does not set cookies through this service, but your browser shares your IP address with Google in order to download the fonts. You can read more in Google’s Privacy Policy and in our Privacy Policy.
4. Managing cookies
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, there is nothing to switch on or off. You can still block or delete cookies through your browser settings — if you do, our request form may ask you to try again. Guidance for popular browsers is available at aboutcookies.org.
5. Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using them.
